TNR (Trap, neuter/spay and release) Request form

Use this form to request spay/neuter services for stray cats in your community that need to be fixed/vetted.

DISCLAIMERS AND LEGAL NOTES: We accept requests for each calendar month and requests are reset on the first of every month. If you are making this request towards the end of the month, it may be better to wait and submit this request at the beginning of the next month. All requests will be reviewed in 7-10 business days, please do NOT email us with questions about the status of your request unless you have additional information that you have learned about the situation and you need to update your request.

If you submitted requests to other rescues as well and one of them got back to you first, please email us as soon as possible to cancel your request so we don't deny other requests to accept a request that is already being handled by another rescue.

Paws and Pumpkins Rescue decides which cases we are able to accept based on our operating budget for TNR requests each month. We consider factors like transportation costs, the number of cats that need help, the health condition and quantity of cats and staff/volunteer availability when deciding if we are able to accept a request. Personal information is collected only for record keeping and documentation purposes and will NOT be publicly shared.

If we discover that you have used this form to request services for a personal pet, you will fined $100 IN ADDITION to being obligated to pay for any expenses Paws and Pumpkins Rescue took on for your pet.

Our definition of a pet is any animal you have been providing food, water, shelter and medical care for and/or any animal that you formally adopted from an organization or individual. If you have any kind of document or written agreement between yourself and an organization/individual that specifically appoints you as the caretaker/adopter, for the animal, that is considered an adoption agreement. Medical care can be veterinary visits or just over the counter treatments/at home remedies.

These fines also apply if you submitted this form for someone else’s pets if you knew the cat(s) have an owner before you submitted the form. If you learn after submitting the form that one or more of the cats you requested services for has an owner, you are required to email us AS SOON AS POSSIBLE (within 24 hours of receiving confirmation that the cat(s) have an owner) to inform us. Please specify which cat(s) you requested services for have an owner and we will update or cancel your request accordingly. If you do not inform us within 24 hours, intentionally hide the fact the cat(s) have an owner or submit a request on behalf of a cat that you know has an owner, you will be fined $100 IN ADDITION to being required to pay for any additional expenses Paws and Pumpkins Rescue took on for the cat(s) that have an owner. Surrendering/rehoming or otherwise revoking/transferring ownership of the cat(s) does NOT waive the fines. Please note that even if the owner of the cat(s) was dishonest to you and claimed the cat(s) do not have an owner, we are legally unable to fine the owner directly as they are not the one who signed an agreement with us. Please decide carefully which cat(s) you want to submit a request for. If you think someone is being dishonest with you and you believe they may be the owner of the cat, we strongly recommend having them fill out this form instead of filling it out on their behalf.
